Karla Quintero

Quintero is a systems engineer specializing in automation with a PhD in collaboration with Thales Group, France, INSA Lyon and Universidad de Los Andes (ULA, Venezuela) on the subject of optimization of decision support in supervision systems. Quintero's experience covers applied research in the automotive industry, first at the European Center for Studies in Safety and Risk Analysis (CEESAR) in France and currently at the Institute of Research and Technology (IRT) SystemX in France. Currently a research engineer and project manager, Quintero holds the position of research and technology coordinator in the scope of systems engineering and functional safety at IRT SystemX. Quintero has further experience in the scope of European projects linked to the CCAM (Connected Cooperative & Automated Mobility) ecosystem and on projects linked to the trustworthiness of AI-based systems including the ongoing projects Confiance.ai , AI4CCAM (Trustworthy AI for CCAM) and PRISSMA (Research and Investment Platform for the Safety and Security of Autonomous Mobility).
